We’re excited to announce our first major event: the Pebble Change the World Hackathon—a chance for high school students to build software with purpose.
This isn’t just about lines of code. It’s about solving real problems. Whether you care about climate change, education access, public health, or inclusivity, this hackathon gives you space to turn ideas into tools that matter.
The theme is simple: Empowering Change Through Code.
If you’re in high school, you’re eligible to join. You don’t need a full team or years of experience—just curiosity, a willingness to learn, and the drive to build something useful.
Participants will:
- Work on a tech project that tackles a real-world issue
- Join workshops and get mentorship along the way
- Submit a finished prototype or concept
There’s over $70,000 worth of non-cash prizes across different tracks. That includes gear, software credits, learning tools, and more. But the real win is seeing your project make a difference.
Registration opens October 20th, and the event kicks off shortly after. You can join solo or as a team. And yes—it’s all online, so anyone can take part.
More info, resources, and sign-up links will be live on our website soon. For now, mark your calendars and start thinking big. What could you build that might help someone else? What’s a small change that could ripple outward?
We’re ready. Let’s make something together.
