We Hit 10 Chapters Nationwide! Here’s How We Got There

What started as three friends from middle school bored over summer has now grown into a network of 10 Pebble chapters across the country. Over 200 students are building projects, hosting workshops, and creating spaces to learn together—led entirely by peers.

Each chapter is unique. Some focus on software. Others bring in guest speakers or run mini-hackathons. A few are embedded in classrooms, while others meet after school. But across all of them, one thing is consistent: students are solving real problems while learning how to code.

This growth didn’t happen through big campaigns or paid outreach. It happened through students sharing what they built, inviting friends, and reaching out to nearby schools. In most cases, a single conversation kicked things off.

We’ve kept things simple. Each new chapter gets a guide to help them start. We provide templates, check-ins, and mentorship. But the day-to-day energy comes from students who care about creating something of their own.

Now that we’ve hit 10 chapters, we’re ready to support more. If you’re a student or educator looking to start a Pebble club at your school, reach out. We’ll help you get going with everything you need—no coding background required.

This isn’t about chasing numbers. It’s about making it easier for students to learn by building. Every new chapter means more chances for someone to find their first project, get unstuck with help from a peer, or discover that they like tech after all.

Thanks to everyone who made this happen. Let’s keep going.
