Creating Courses That Actually Work

Every course we design starts with a simple question: what’s the thing students are struggling to understand, and how can we help them actually get it?

That’s why we focus more on clarity than coverage. We don’t rush to cram in every topic. We look for the core ideas students need to build confidence—and design everything around those. In our Foundations in Linear Algebra course, that meant starting with what a vector means before touching any formulas. That decision came straight from talking to students.

We build short, focused lessons that don’t assume background knowledge. Every video is designed to stand on its own and invite questions. If someone gets stuck, we want them to know it’s okay to pause, rewatch, or ask for help.

Feedback shapes everything. After each course, we collect reactions from both learners and teachers. What felt too fast? Where did people lose the thread? What explanations actually helped? We use that to cut what didn’t land, and expand what did. You’ll see those changes in every new version.

We’re also building in more flexibility—clear goals, yes, but no rigid timelines. We want you to learn on your own terms and still walk away with something solid. That’s why each course is fully self-paced, with recap videos and optional practice.

Learning should feel like building something, not checking boxes. That’s what we aim for every time we sit down to write a script, sketch a diagram, or hit record.

If you’re using one of our courses and have feedback, we’d love to hear it. That’s how we get better.
